Terenski rad predstavlja jednu od klju\u010dnih komponenti projekta TEaCh-In, a nedavna istra\u017eivanja u Istri u okviru HRZZ-BREEMECO projekta dodatno je osna\u017eila na\u0161e napore u razumijevanju eocenskih klimatskih doga\u0111aja.<\/p>\n

Tijekom jednotjednog terena, \u010dlanovi istra\u017eiva\u010dkog tima fokusirali su se na detaljno prou\u010davanje izdanaka eocenskih naslaga. Aktivnosti su uklju\u010divale stratigrafsko opisivanje, dokumentiranje terenskih odnosa te ciljano uzorkovanje za multidisciplinarne analize iz adekvatnih naslaga fli\u0161a.<\/p>\n

Prikupljeni uzorci omogu\u0107it \u0107e integraciju paleontolo\u0161kih, sedimentolo\u0161kih, mineralo\u0161kih i geokemijskih podataka, \u0161to je klju\u010dno za rekonstrukciju paleookoli\u0161a i identifikaciju klimatskih doga\u0111aja (LLTM, MECO) u eocenu.<\/p>\n

Osim znanstvenog doprinosa, teren je pru\u017eio i priliku za ja\u010danje suradnje unutar tima te razmjenu znanja u neposrednom istra\u017eiva\u010dkom okru\u017eenju.<\/p>\n
